RESUME
Cet article souligne le rôle de l’Etat dans le développement agricole. Au stade actuel du développement économique de la R. D. Congo, l‘agriculture est le seul secteur qui puisse, avec équité, mettre au travail des milliers de personnes, leur procurer un revenu et créer des plus-values substantielles tout en touchant les couches les plus pauvres de la population (celles du Congo profond).

ABSTRACT
This article highlights the role of the state in agricultural development. At the current stage of economic development in the D. R. Congo, agriculture is the only sector that can fairly put thousands of people to work, provide them with an income and create additional income. At the present stage of economic development in the D. R. Congo, agriculture is the only sector that can, with equity, put thousands of people to work, provide them with an income and create substantial added value, while reaching the poorest sections of the population (those of the deep Congo).
